Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and guide IT portfolio execution. You will mentor architects across Humana and drive value through modern cloud and enterprise architecture practices.

This remote role offers a 40-hour work week, occasional travel to Humana offices, and a compensation range of $142,300 - $195,700 per year with a bonus incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
• Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead.
• Expert knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture pattern development and application, cloud architectures and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the business within IT ensuring alignment with strategy.
• Guide value-driven outcomes by aligning technology strategy with business strategies.
• Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with stakeholders and deliver value through architecture guidance.
• Evangelize lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to map business vision to value streams and capabilities.
• Document current state architecture, value streams and domain capabilities.
• Apply portfolio rationalization to map value streams and capabilities and identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
• Define and maintain technology strategies and architectures to deliver identified opportunities.
• Enable innovation and evolution of cloud services in collaboration with Segment teams and Enterprise Shared Services Teams.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop architecture standards.
