Job summary

M3 Insurance is seeking a Senior Client Manager for its Small Business team to lead client meetings, nurture relationships, and guide the team with insurance know-how and strong leadership. You will support the sales group, manage designated accounts, and contribute to strategic growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing insurance knowledge expansion, and mentoring within a flexible hybrid work model that blends remote and in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of five years insurance agency or company experience OR a minimum of five years equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in professional verbal and written communication.
• Knowledgeable about insurance products, markets, sales processes, and workflow procedures.
• Team player mentality, delegating effectively and fostering trust among colleagues.
• Proficiency in technical skills, including Microsoft Office suite and agency automation systems (e.g., EPIC).
• Life, Accident and Health insurance license preferred or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designated clients as the first point of contact, ensuring needs are met promptly and with precision.
• Play a pivotal role in cross-selling, account rounding, and leading renewal negotiations and claims resolution.
• Collaborate with sales staff to write new business, retain clients, and deliver exceptional service.
• Organize workflow, schedule appointments, and streamline procedures to support sales efforts.
• Forge enduring connections with clients and carriers built on trust and reliability.
• Mentor and lead team members, identifying opportunities for improvement and fostering team cohesion.
