Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering across our regional and global Data Center Design and Construction teams. You will serve as the senior technical reviewer for complex, high-risk electrical systems, ensuring technical quality and scalable standards.

Responsibilities include guiding design criteria, reviewing consultant designs, and mentoring less experienced engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in data center or mission-critical programs.
• In-depth knowledge of critical power systems, protection coordination, and commissioning requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical strategy for major data center builds and upgrades from concept through commissioning.
• Review consultant designs, calculations, specs, and submittals; maintain global standards.
• Analyze power systems, HV/MV/LV distribution, standby generation, UPS, and power quality.
• Mentor engineers and drive lessons learned to improve global standards.
