Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering across our regional and global Data Center Design and Construction teams. You will serve as the senior technical reviewer for complex, high-risk electrical systems, assuring technical quality, resolving discipline risks, and establishing scalable engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with data center, mission-critical, or major technical capital programs.
• Deep domain knowledge of critical power systems, power studies, protective relay coordination, codes/standards, interconnections, and commissioning requirements.
• Commercial and technical judgement balancing power architecture, resilience, cost, efficiency, and schedule risks.
• Influence and communication to align consultants, equipment manufacturers, and cross-functional leadership.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical strategy and reviews for major data center builds from concept to commissioning.
• Develop and maintain global standard designs and Basis of Design documents.
• Evaluate utility interconnections, HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, energy storage, grounding/earthing, and power-quality performance.
• Partner with Supply Chain on OFCI equipment and lead root-cause investigations for incidents.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate across Design Management, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, and Solutions Engineering.
