Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Developer (EDI) to own EDI workflows, partner data validation, and integration across AS2/SFTP/HTTPS. The role requires 8+ years with Edifecs EDI, SNIP validations, and strong AWS experience, in a remote U.S.-based setting.

You will collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, and cloud teams to ensure accurate transaction processing for healthcare and enterprise systems, while documenting mappings and operational impacts for partners and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of Edifecs EDI experience in healthcare or enterprise apps.
Experience with Edifecs XEngine, SNIP validations, and EDI X12 workflows.
US citizenship required for this opportunity.
Security clearance: Public Trust (MBI) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Own EDI workflows, partner requirements, and data validation rules.
Ensure accurate transaction processing and support business operations.
Interpret and troubleshoot 270/271, 276/277, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999/277CA.
Document mapping and integration changes for new partners.
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business units.
Work with AS2, SFTP, and HTTPS data flows.
Validate payloads and reconcile EDI with stored data.
