Bloomerang is seeking a senior media relations leader to own the earned media strategy and execution in a fast-paced, velocity-driven environment. You will drive pitching, bylines, and award placements, supported by relationships with reporters in tech, SaaS, and nonprofit sectors.

You will collaborate with the Director, Brand Communications to ensure consistent brand narrative and leverage AI tools for pitch personalization while preserving human judgment and newsroom relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public relations or media relations in B2B, SaaS, or tech.
• Proven earned media placements and story-picking judgment.
• Established relationships with tech/nonprofit reporters.

Responsibilities

• Own earned media strategy and proactive pitch pipeline.
• Manage media relations across tech/nonprofit trade press.
• Evaluate outlets via traditional and AI-based visibility.
• Write bylines, op-eds, and press releases with execs.
• Lead trendjacking and fast-response media opportunities.
• Oversee awards submissions and project calendar.
• Own earned media reporting and share of voice analysis.
• Manage podcast and Substack pitching as extensions.
