Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior E-commerce Analyst to join our analytics team in a fully remote role. You will analyze customer behavior, sales performance, website traffic, and marketing ROI to deliver data-driven recommendations that drive growth and optimize conversions.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in e-commerce analytics, advanced SQL, and expertise in Tableau or Power BI, Python or R, and GA4/Adobe Analytics.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in a quantitative field; or Bachelor's with extensive experience.
6–8 years of experience in data analysis, focused on e-commerce analytics.
Expert-level SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce data including sales trends and marketing ROI.
Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI.
Identify trends and anomalies to uncover actionable insights and growth opportunities.
Analyze marketing campaigns across channels (SEO, SEM, Social, Email) and provide optimization recommendations.
Perform user journey analysis to identify friction points and improve customer experience.
Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies based on behavioral data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and strategic initiatives.
Build predictive models to forecast sales, customer lifetime value, and other metrics.
Stay current with industry best practices and e-commerce trends.
Present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
