Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data analysis or operations analyst role, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data related to sales, inventory, staffing, and customer service.
• Identify KPIs and monitor trends in retail operations.
• Develop reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to management.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions in inventory, store performance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and understand business needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements.
• Conduct research on industry best practices and competitor analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across analytical processes.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly.
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from management.
