Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• 10+ years of experience in workforce funding, economic development, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of workforce funding and how priorities are shaped at state and national levels.
• Established network of senior decision-makers across government and public-private partnerships.
• Proven success originated and secured large-scale workforce funding partnerships.
• Experience identifying opportunities before formal programs or procurements.
• Experience leading complex, long-cycle business development with executives and government leaders.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, shape, and secure workforce funding opportunities with seven-figure revenue potential.
• Leverage relationships with governor's offices, state government, and public-private partnerships.
• Anticipate workforce investment priorities and position ed2go early in discussions.
• Lead opportunities from origination through negotiations and activation.
• Develop funding partnerships involving state programs and employer coalitions.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities; evaluate revenue potential and alignment with goals.
• Represent ed2go in executive discussions and industry forums.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs to navigate policy considerations.
• Provide senior leadership with insights into funding trends and risks.
• Work remotely with travel up to 30% as needed.
