Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• 10+ years in workforce funding, economic development or related field.
• Deep knowledge of workforce funding and how investment priorities are shaped at state and national levels.
• Established network of senior decision-makers across government, workforce and labor, economic development, and public-private partnerships.
• Proven success originating, developing, and securing large-scale workforce funding partnerships or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify, shape, and secure workforce funding opportunities with seven-figure revenue potential or expansion across partners, markets, or states.
• Leverage relationships with senior decision-makers to create access to funding opportunities.
• Anticipate workforce investment priorities and position ed2go in discussions before funding programs or opportunities are formal.
• Lead opportunities from origination through negotiations and activation.
• Develop funding partnerships involving state-funded programs and public-private initiatives.
• Build and advance a pipeline of funding opportunities and evaluate revenue potential.
• Represent ed2go in executive discussions and industry forums to originate opportunities.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs and teams to navigate policy considerations and activate partnerships.
• Provide leadership with insights into funding trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Work remotely with travel up to 30%.
