Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Sr. Director, Care Delivery Organization (CDO), Value Based Care Contracting, to lead the contracting strategy and execution across the provider network in a Medicare Advantage value-based care environment.

The leader will own the full contracting lifecycle from strategy and negotiation through execution and loading, partnering with Corporate Contracting, Network Development, Finance, and Market Leadership to meet cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of value-based contracting experience in managed care, Medicare Advantage, or healthcare services.
Expert-level negotiating skills for complex arrangements (full-risk, shared savings, capitation).
Experience reviewing medical claims data and creating executive summaries for cost trend mitigation.
Proven ability to operate in a matrixed organization and drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead Value-Based Contracting Strategy and Execution across the provider network.
Negotiate and manage complex provider arrangements with IPAs, health systems, and large groups.
Drive value-based strategic planning and contract performance oversight.
Analyze medical claims data and financial performance to identify cost-improvement opportunities.
Lead and develop the contracting team and ensure data-driven decision making.
Coordinate cross-functional contract support with HEDIS, Credentialing, Grievance & Appeals, and Member Services.
Lead cross-functional projects and programs from inception to implementation.
