Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking an experienced AVP of Contracting & Network Management to lead hospital contracting strategy, negotiations, and network alignment for Medicare Advantage populations. You will oversee hospital and broader provider contracts, driving value-based care and financially sound networks.

This senior leader will partner with executive teams, mentor staff, model financial outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in healthcare contracting and network management, with deep expertise in hospital contracting.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; BA/BS required.
• Deep expertise in Medicare Advantage contracting, including reimbursement methods, contract structuring, and negotiation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of hospital contracting strategies with acute care hospitals and IDNs.
• Oversee enterprise provider contracting across IPAs, medical groups, and direct network physicians.
• Develop value-based contracting approaches, risk-sharing models, and network design to improve outcomes and total cost of care.
