Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Director of Payer Relationships and Value-Based Contracting to lead the organization’s payer strategy across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and ACA lines. You will partner with Finance, Analytics, and Network leadership to optimize performance and ensure contract success.

The role requires extensive experience in payer relations, contract management, and population health alignment, with a focus on value-based contracting and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare, managed care, payer relations, or value-based contracting experience.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, ACA contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage value-based care payer contracts across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and ACA.
• Serve as the primary Population Health relationship lead for payer partners.
• Attend payer Joint Operating Committee meetings and document decisions and follow-ups.
• Maintain a master tracker of value-based care contracts with key metrics.
• Monitor contract performance with Finance, Analytics, Quality, and Clinical Operations.
