Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Service Sales Leader to build and lead the service sales function across startups, commissioning, modernization, maintenance, spares, and training. This role will define strategy, establish a high-performing team, and drive bookings and margin growth nationwide, with 30-40% travel.

You will stand up a new service sales organization, implement processes, governance, and playbooks, and partner cross-functionally to align offerings with market demand in mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven leadership experience in services sales within electrical power, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience building and scaling service sales organizations and driving service revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive service sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Stand up and lead the service sales organization, blending existing and new team members.
• Drive bookings growth and build a robust pipeline tied to installed base and lifecycle opportunities.
• Define quotas, compensation plans, and governance with clear metrics.
• Partner with product, project, and field services teams to deliver integrated offerings.
