Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking a Sr. Director of Engineering/Packaging to steer packaging engineering across its contract packaging and manufacturing network.

This leader will collaborate with Operations, R&D, Finance, Quality, and customers to drive growth, optimize processes, and coordinate capital investments while guiding continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites. Remote work is supported with travel expectations of 50%–75% (up to 100% during peak periods).

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in 3PL, manufacturing or distribution, with 10+ years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to guide multisite engineering initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and influence.
• Strong knowledge of packaging, production planning, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Nulogy and WMS platforms (Blue Yonder and SAP); proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance for packaging engineering across the network.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, R&D, Finance, Quality, and Customer teams.
• Direct engineering strategy, network design, and costing analyses for capital investments.
• Coordinate with Business Development on new launches and growth initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across sites, with KPIs and executive reporting.
