Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr Director, Market & Competitive Intelligence to lead a new enterprise intelligence function. Remote role open to US-based candidates, partnering with executive leadership, marketing, sales, product, and data science to translate market signals into actionable strategy.

You will build the team, define the operating model, and measure market position and marketing effectiveness, overseeing TAM analyses, win/loss programs, and predictive insights in collaboration with data

Qualifications

• 10+ years in competitive intelligence or market intelligence
• 3+ years leading intelligence or strategy teams
• B2B SaaS experience preferred; IT or cybersecurity background a plus
• Proven track record building or scaling intelligence functions
• Experience with customer segmentation and win/loss analysis
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize data into insights
• Excellent communication to C-level executives
• Cross-functional leadership to influence across teams

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the competitive intelligence program, including profiles and battlecards
• Lead market intelligence efforts, including TAM analysis and industry trend assessments
• Develop the enterprise Voice of Customer capability and win/loss programs
• Design and maintain customer segmentation frameworks for go-to-market teams
• Own the marketing effectiveness measurement framework, focusing on predictive intelligence
• Collaborate with Data Science on AI models for churn prediction and customer lifetime value
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on market and competitive insights
• Integrate competitive insights into sales training and measure impact on win rates
• Recruit and lead a high-performing team of analysts
