Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr. Director of Labor Relations to shape and lead the company’s labor relations agenda, partnering with senior leaders to design strategies that mitigate risk and align with business objectives.

The role requires a proactive, collaborative leader with deep labor relations expertise, capable of guiding complex negotiations and arbitration while upholding a culture where associates feel valued and supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in labor relations in retail/wholesale/manufacturing/distribution.
• 3+ years presenting cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
• Experience developing and executing labor relations strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex collective bargaining negotiations and labor policy implementation.
• Oversee arbitration, grievances, and NLRA charge responses.
• Direct labor relations programs aligned with business objectives.
• Advise on regulatory matters; partner with executives.
• Develop labor relations training with business leaders.
• Monitor labor trends and best practices.
• Manage external relations with unions and labor boards.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
