Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the company’s risk strategy, governance, and risk financing initiatives. This remote role partners with executives and boards to align risk with operations, insurance, and strategic growth.

The candidate will drive ERM outcomes, oversee insurance programs, captive considerations, and surety engagements, while building a high-performing risk organization across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA, Master's Degree in Risk Management, or related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, and risk dashboards for informed decision-making.
• Oversee corporate and project insurance programs, renewals, and pricing with brokers/carriers.
• Evaluate captive/self-insurance and other risk-financing strategies.
• Manage surety bonding strategy and relationships with surety companies and underwriters.
• Oversee claims, loss reduction, and interaction with legal and TPA partners.
• Negotiate risk transfer provisions in contracts and ensure alignment with risk tolerance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing risk management team and culture.
