Job summary

Choice Hotels International seeks a Sr. Director, Enterprise Payments in the United States to lead the payments function, align stakeholders, and shape the multi-year payments roadmap for franchisees and guests.

You will own the payments P&L, develop budgets and opportunities across gateways, banks, and networks, and build a high-impact team as volume and scope grow, including international expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in payments/fintech or related fields with enterprise initiative leadership.
• Experience developing payment strategies, commercial models, and governance programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing payment service providers, gateways, processors, and networks.
• People leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise payments strategy, investments, and 3–5 year portfolio.
• Set governance and cadence for build vs. buy and domestic vs international.
• Prioritize product roadmaps with Payments Product Owners to meet goals.
• Provide strategic direction to Product, Technology, Operations, Analytics.
• Own the consolidated payments P&L; develop budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Develop business cases and go-to-market plans for new opportunities.
• Oversee partner ecosystem and governance; conduct QBRs and reviews.
• Track rebates, revenue leakage, pricing changes, and adoption against terms.
• Define required data and collaborate on security, privacy, and compliance.
