Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director of Customer Identity and Access Management to own the strategy, execution, and maturity of Zillow's customer identity platform.

You will lead three engineering teams through Engineering Managers and support two Principal Engineers who anchor technical direction. You will set a 2–3 year roadmap, own the budget and vendor strategy, and serve as Zillow's senior voice on identity, authentication and authorization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of high-volume engineering experience with leadership through managers.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts: authentication, authorization, MFA, conditional access.
• Deep experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-team organization through frontline Engineering Managers.
• Directly support Principal Engineers to anchor architectural decisions.
• Own 2–3 year roadmaps aligned with product and platform priorities.
• Drive authentication and authorization strategy across Zillow Group.
• Represent CIAM at the executive level and manage budget and vendor relations.
