Bausch + Lomb is seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Corporate Development to shape the future of eye health through strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and partnerships. The role reports to the SVP, Business Development & Corporate Strategy, and collaborates with cross-functional teams across finance, strategy, and operations.

The candidate will build financial models, evaluate transactions, and manage external advisors, while steering portfolio optimization and corporate strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, life sciences, or related field.
• MBA from a top-tier program strongly preferred.
• 12+ years in corporate strategy, business development, M&A or related field.
• Experience in a global lifesciences organization; pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SVP to shape long-range strategic plans aligned with vision and goals.
• Source, evaluate and execute M&A opportunities and licensing agreements.
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence and valuation.
• Build sophisticated financial models and business cases to support decisions.
• Manage external advisors during transaction processes and negotiations.
• Identify portfolio optimization opportunities including divestitures.
• Drive development and implementation of corporate strategy and growth initiatives.
• Define KPIs and metrics to measure long-range initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmark competitive trends.
