Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in the United States seeks a Senior Director of Corporate Development to shape growth through M&A, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. You will report to the SVP of Business Development & Corporate Strategy and lead cross-functional teams, building financial models and guiding transactions from target screening to integration.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in corporate strategy or related fields, strong financial modeling, and global lifesciences experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, life sciences, or related field required.
• 12+ years in corporate strategy, business development, M&A or related field.
• Experience in global lifesciences organization; pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel; solid PowerPoint skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-range strategic plans for growth.
• Source, evaluate and execute M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes from due diligence to post-merger integration.
• Develop sophisticated financial models and business cases for decisions.
• Manage external advisors (banks, consultants, legal) during transactions.
• Define KPIs and monitor long-range initiative performance.
• Provide strategic guidance based on industry trends and competitive analysis.
