Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director of Actuarial Forecasting to lead a team of actuaries delivering strategic pricing direction and leadership to clients and internal teams. The role partners with Finance and other departments to assess current and future product costs and pricing strategy.

The position requires 10 years of actuarial experience (5 in healthcare/PBM), 7 years of leadership, and ASA or FSA designation, with eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related area of study, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of actuarial work experience, 5 in healthcare or PBM.
• 7 years of leadership experience.
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice using market research, projections and complex modeling.
• Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and leadership on RFPs and pricing initiatives.
• Develops forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events.
• Ensures scalable processes and controls in actuarial work following industry standards.
• Leads negotiations and presentations, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Manages department budget, staffing, performance, and aligns with leadership expectations.
