Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 10 years actuarial work experience, 5 in healthcare or PBM
• 7 years of leadership experience
• Actuarial designation ASA or FSA

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology using market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling
• Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFP process and other pricing and risk management initiatives
• Engages with functional leadership to develop and maintain forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events
• Develops processes to ensure scalability and effective control of work product following actuarial standards of practice
• Leads negotiations and presentations and translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations
