The position oversees pricing processes, collaborates with Finance, and drives forecasting assumptions while managing budget, staffing, and stakeholder communications across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related area of study; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• 10 years actuarial experience, 5 in healthcare or PBM.
• 7 years leadership experience.
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology using market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling.
• Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFPs and pricing/risk initiatives.
• Develops forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events.
• Manages department budget, staffing, performance and development.
