Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Digital Content & Social Lead (Contractor) based in the United States. This remote, part-time engagement blends strategy with hands-on execution across short-form video, design, social publishing, and editorial copywriting to tell wildlife and animal welfare stories.

You will own the content process from concept to publication, use analytics to refine creative approaches, and manage your own flexible schedule as an independent

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in short-form video, graphic design, social publishing, and editorial copywriting.
• Proven track record creating digital content for mission-driven brands, media or agencies.
• Ability to independently manage projects from concept to final production and publication.
• Hands-on proficiency with CapCut, Canva Video, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong skills in design tools such as Figma, Canva, Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms and engagement strategies.
• Excellent short-form copywriting and ability to craft hooks and captions.
• Ability to translate complex topics into engaging, accessible content.
• Experience using analytics to inform creative decisions and improve results.
• Strong organizational skills and autonomy as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end digital content production and social media execution.
• Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
• Develop hooks, audio design, and on-screen text for impact.
• Source and edit archival/stock media into narrative videos.
• Design social carousels, static graphics, and promotional assets.
• Maintain brand consistency across all content and channels.
• Develop and publish content calendars across platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics and produce monthly reports with recommendations.
• Write captions, overlays, calls to action, and short-form social copy.
• Translate environmental topics into warm, accessible storytelling.
• Lead independent projects from concept to publication using preferred tools.
