Job summary

Fuze Health seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure software delivery across AWS/GCP and Kubernetes environments. You will define security strategy, architect secure-by-design systems, and automate compliance checks while mentoring engineers.

As a full-time remote role nationwide, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance to elevate security posture, meet HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST standards, and scale our cloud infrastructure for growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software or security engineering, with DevSecOps focus.
• Proven cloud architecture experience in AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience securing containerized and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Proficiency in IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Define DevSecOps strategy and governance across teams.
• Architect secure-by-design cloud-native systems.
• Design and secure CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Mentor engineers in secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance.
