Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering organization in a role that leads security across infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD.

You will architect secure cloud-native systems on AWS/GCP and mentor teams in secure coding and DevSecOps practices. You will implement policy-as-code, secure IaC pipelines, and governance controls while aligning with HIPAA and related healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software, infra, or security engineering, with DevSecOps focus.
• Deep cloud architecture expertise (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience building secure containerized and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of application security and OWASP Top 10.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Go/Ruby or similar).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure-by-design cloud-native systems (AWS/GCP).
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design and secure CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance controls.
• Support HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST and related frameworks.
• Mentor engineers in secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Influence leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
