Job summary

TMC Technologies is seeking an experienced DevSecOps/Cloud Platform Engineer to advance our secure AWS GovCloud environment and OpenShift platform. You will drive automation, containerization, and secure deployment practices across enterprise infrastructure.

The role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with a remote-friendly posture and periodic face-to-face SAFe ceremonies. 7+ years of hands-on experience and a Bachelor's degree are expected for this senior-level position.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
• 7+ years of hands-on systems administration experience.
• Cloud Infrastructure: hands-on AWS administration incl. EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, load balancing, networking.
• Containers & orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• DevOps / CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or comparable tools.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar.
• Linux Administration: strong RHEL administration and scripting.
• DevSecOps: security scanning, secrets management, and compliance in pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate AWS and OpenShift infrastructure for cloud platforms.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Migrate apps from VM-based to containerized environments.
• Implement infrastructure automation to reduce manual tasks.
• Troubleshoot cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and app connectivity issues.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Incorporate security and compliance controls into deployment processes.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and operational documentation.
