Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer with substantial AWS GovCloud expertise to help build and support the platform that powers Navy logistics and asset visibility. You will design, deploy, and maintain a Platform-as-a-Service environment across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Collaborate with developers, DevSecOps engineers, and Navy users to ensure stability, security, and speed.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance or higher and DoD 8570/8140 baseline certifications (e.g., Security+ CE).
5+ years as a DevSecOps or Platform Engineer in DoD or regulated environments.
Significant AWS GovCloud and hybrid cloud experience.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain GitLab pipelines for seamless deployment.
Migrate legacy repos/workflows from Bitbucket to GitLab.
Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, edge, and Navy networks using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.
Drive containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Velero-based backups.
Implement automated security checks, RHEL image hardening and STIG compliance in CI/CD pipelines.
Support Authority to Operate (ATO) status and ICAM integration within platforms.
Establish monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Grafana across the stack.
Oversee secrets management and automated key rotation.
