Job summary

Yourgi, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Head of DevOps/SRE to build and lead our engineering services function.

You will own CI/CD orchestration for API, web, and mobile, establish on-call rotations, and drive security, observability, and data governance across AWS environments. You will lead a small DevOps/SRE team, stay hands-on, and set operating practices for product teams to achieve reliable deployments, rapid rollback, and production visibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Deep AWS experience, especially serverless (Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway) and IAM.
• Built CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or similar, including automated rollback.
• Infrastructure as code in production (Terraform, OpenTofu, or CDK).
• On-call and incident-management experience that reduced incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD for API, web, and mobile deployments with automated rollback.
• Stand up production monitoring and alerting across AWS services.
• Launch a shared on-call rotation and blameless postmortems.
• Define and enforce IaC standards across environments.
• Maintain data pipelines reliability and data governance practices.
• Lead security operations and supply‑chain hygiene.
• Manage nearshore or distributed engineers and drive team development.
