Job summary

Yourgi, Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE leader to build and scale our cloud platform. You will own CI/CD for API, web, and mobile, mentor a small nearshore team, and shape the operating practices across product teams.

You'll drive production monitoring on AWS, define SLOs, manage on-call processes, implement IaC, and ensure data pipelines, security, and governance are rock solid. This remote, US‑based role reports to the VP of Engineering and offers a base salary plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Deep AWS experience, including serverless services and IAM/RDS.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines, with automated rollback.
• IaC in production using Terraform/OpenTofu/CDK.
• On-call/incidents management with measurable improvements.
• Hands-on security operations and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience managing nearshore or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD for API, web, and mobile with unattended deploys and canary releases.
• Stand up production monitoring on AWS and define actionable alerts.
• Launch a shared on-call rotation and conduct blameless postmortems.
• Bring AWS infra and DB ops under code with consistent environments.
• Own data pipelines moving data to data lake/warehouse with monitoring.
• Run secrets management, least-privilege IAM, and dependency scanning.
• Set data access, retention, and logging standards across systems.
• Report DORA metrics and cloud cost by team; lead DevOps/SRE hiring.
• Help product teams own services in production.
