Job summary

Moodle Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager, DevOps to lead a remote, high-performing team responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure for external customers and partners. You will drive stability, performance, and automation while supporting certification projects and customer support.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearances, with a remote-first work model and a strong focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

5+ years of Linux/Unix system administration experience and AWS hosted infrastructure.
Knowledge of Python, PHP, shell scripting or other scripting languages is a plus.
Strong customer-facing skills and ability to work with external clients.
Experience leading distributed, remote teams and managing SLA-driven environments.
Familiarity with security best practices, HA, DR and incident management.

Responsibilities

Support DevOps team in managing client hosting infrastructure.
Lead the team in deployment, availability, performance, and automation best practices.
Manage and participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
Provide technical guidance and evaluations to management.
Coordinate tasks for certification processes (SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO) and security policies.
