Job summary

Allied Public Adjusters, Inc. is seeking an Executive Desk Public Adjuster to independently manage a shared high-value caseload from the desk.

The role partners with the Executive Public Adjuster and requires strong writing, negotiation, and carrier-communication skills, with CA licensure obtainable within 90 days. The position is remote, working within a pod structure, and focuses on large-loss and complex residential/commercial claims.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in property claims
• Experience handling large-loss, commercial, and/or complex residential claims
• Strong knowledge of coverage, claim planning, and negotiations
• Persuasive communicator with carriers by phone, email, and letters
• Proficiency in Xactimate for estimates
• Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction
• Active CA Public Adjuster License or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Excellent writing, organization, and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Executive Public Adjuster’s claims counterpart and manage shared desk caseload
• Partner with the Executive Public Adjuster to develop claim approaches and conduct coverage analysis
• Execute desk-to-resolve execution with high documentation standards
• Act as primary contact with carrier, client, and vendors via phone, email, and letters
• Draft and send position letters, demand letters, and proofs of loss
• Negotiate with carrier adjusters within established authority
• Drive carrier accountability and track deadlines and payments
• Prepare, submit, and track supplements and keep Xactimate estimates current
• Analyze policy coverage and identify gaps and opportunities
• Keep the Executive Public Adjuster informed through regular claim reviews
• Own file discipline with audit-ready documentation
• Maintain timely client communication and expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claims efficiently
• Follow internal processes, timelines, and compliance
• Attend inspections and site meetings as needed
• Ability to drive to office and client sites
