Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Principal Design Verification Engineer to lead DV strategy across the Power Controller BU portfolio from our Durham, NC facility. You will guide a small verification team, drive methodologies, and ensure high-quality coverage for complex PMICs and mixed-signal designs.

The role emphasizes hands-on verification leadership, mentorship, and adoption of cutting-edge DV techniques, with a flexible Work policy including remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years in SystemVerilog/UVM verification.
• 3+ years of technical leadership, mentoring, or managing teams.
• Proven DV strategy experience for complex mixed-signal SoCs or PMICs.
• Strong proficiency with EDA tools and automation (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the DV strategy for the group and align with roadmaps.
• Develop DV plans for multiple projects and track progress.
• Lead and mentor a small team of verification engineers.
• Evaluate and adopt new EDA tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with analog/digital design, applications, and silicon validation teams.
• Conduct code and testbench reviews and drive quality.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding verification talent.
• Architect scalable verification infrastructure across projects.
• Drive AI/ML-assisted verification techniques.
• Represent the team in reviews and executive briefings.
