Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud-based Data Infrastructure or related roles.
• Hands-on with AWS Data Services (Aurora, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, Athena).
• Strong PostgreSQL/Aurora and Snowflake expertise; SQL proficiency.
• Scripting in Python or Shell; experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure on AWS.
• Operate core data systems across ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration.
• Ensure reliability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency of data platforms.
• Promote data modeling, observability, IaC, and CI/CD automation.
• Support distributed data systems (PostgreSQL/Aurora, Snowflake, Kafka, caching).
• Collaborate with application/analytics/AI teams for self-service data access.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews and standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive platform improvements.
• Support on-call rotations and incident response when required.
