Providence is seeking an Experienced Senior Data Engineer to evolve the organization's enterprise data platform strategy, governance framework, and modernization initiatives. You will drive Snowflake maturity, data standards, and metadata practices while migrating legacy data assets into a scalable data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of related experience; software development preferred.
• Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent.
• Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
• SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure Devops, TFS, and Jira.
• Proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Define data standards and governance practices for the enterprise data platform.
• Drive Snowflake platform maturity and secure, scalable data solutions.
• Migrate legacy data assets into a governed enterprise data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data teams to enable analytics, reporting, AI, and data products.
• Establish engineering standards and an operating model for data engineering.
