Job summary
Providence is seeking an Experienced Senior Data Engineer to advance the enterprise data platform, governance, and modernization initiatives. You will help define data standards, drive Snowflake maturity, and migrate legacy data into a scalable, governed data ecosystem to support analytics, AI, and data products.
The role blends technical leadership with data strategy in a patient-focused health care organization, offering remote work and a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of related experience; software development preferred.
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent.
- Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
- SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure Devops, TFS, and Jira.
- Proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
