Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to shape the enterprise data platform strategy, governance, and modernization. You’ll drive Snowflake maturity, data standards, metadata practices, and migrate legacy data into a scalable, governed data ecosystem for analytics, AI, and data products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, information services, or equivalent.
5 years of related experience; software development preferred.
Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent.
Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure Devops, TFS, and Jira.
Proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
