Job summary

Movement Labs, a fully remote data science and political-tech firm, seeks Senior and Mid-level Data Engineers to join our Tech team. You’ll build scalable data pipelines, partner with program teams, and extend datasets for outreach and election work.

Candidates should have 3–6+ years designing and operating production data pipelines, strong SQL/Python, and experience with cloud warehouses and orchestration tools. The role is remote with a six-month term and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years designing, building, and operating production data pipelines and integrations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with a modern data stack (cloud data warehouses, dbt, orchestration).

Responsibilities

• Shape pipelines and integrations feeding the RCT platform and voter datasets.
• Extend data platform and orchestration for cost, runtime, and reliability during elections.
• Lead cross-team projects from scoping to milestones and review.
• Document systems for engineers and non-engineers; mentor teammates.
