Job summary
DVT, a leading software development company, seeks a Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to join its Data and Automation practice in a fully remote arrangement. You will design, build, and operate a modern AWS-first data platform, moving data through S3 into Redshift Serverless, with dbt models and Python scripting, and potential Snowflake evolution.
You will own end-to-end pipelines, set data quality and observability standards, and collaborate with distributed stakeholders and analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data or analytics engineering with hands-on AWS data platforms.
- Proven ability to design and operate end-to-end data pipelines in modern cloud environments.
- Strong Python scripting for data workflows and automation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling (dimensional, warehouse-first).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines across AWS data environments.
- Own Airflow orchestration, scheduling, retries, and observability.
- Develop analytics-ready data models in dbt with modular patterns.
- Work with S3 and Redshift Serverless; explore Snowflake as needed.
- Collaborate with distributed stakeholders in a remote-first setup.
