YARD Corporate presents an exciting Senior Data Engineer opportunity with a premier global SaaS product company. You will own end-to-end data systems, writing Python, modeling schemas, and deploying cloud infrastructure via Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on data systems.
• Deep Data Architecture Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, and schema design for relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Strong Cloud & IaC skills with Terraform in AWS.
• Software rigor with automated testing, CI/CD, and maintainable Python code.
• Distributed processing experience with modern data tools (Snowflake, Spark, dbt, Iceberg).
• Collaborative English communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high-throughput data pipelines across distributed ecosystems.
• Lead schema evolution, DDL/DML design, and partitioning strategies for relational and analytical warehouses.
• Advocate for software engineering standards with IaC, tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Data Science to architect feature stores and MLOps workflows.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale containerized data services and orchestrated DAGs (Kubernetes, Airflow, Docker).
• Serve as a subject-matter expert translating architectural trade-offs into business decisions.
