Job summary

Stripe invites an experienced data analyst to drive the data strategy for risk as a product offering. You will define metrics, pipelines, and data products that serve as the analytical backbone for risk decisioning, partnering across Product, Engineering, and Risk leadership.

You will own and evolve Stripe's risk metrics and experimentation framework, ensuring trustworthy, well-documented insights and scalable infrastructure while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related roles.
• Experience designing experimentation frameworks for complex systems.
• Deep expertise in SQL; proficiency in Python.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analyses for executives.
• Experience building scalable data products and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Define the metrics, data products, and analytical frameworks needed as Stripe brings risk capabilities to platforms and connected accounts at scale.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Risk leadership to align data investments with the product roadmap.
• Own the definition, reliability, and visibility of risk metrics and maintain scalable pipelines.
• Evolve risk experimentation strategy and mentor Data Analysts on the team.
