Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Risk Operations Analyst to ensure policies, operations, and workflows align with partner needs. You will manage workflows affecting internal and external stakeholders to assess regulatory, contractual, and partner risk, while building scalable processes for compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or operations in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience scaling operational processes and driving quantifiable improvements.
• Experience working cross-functionally on complex problems.
• Ability to use data to quantify problems, tell a story, and influence a solution.
• You have ownership, accountability, and drive toward ambitious goals.
• Deep empathy for entrepreneurs running a business and motivation to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sound judgment and navigate high-risk decisions.
• Evaluate merchants from startups to established institutions for processing on Stripe.
• Adhere to processes while suggesting improvements and following up on implementations.
• Communicate effectively with Stripe employees, users, and financial partners.
• Identify trends and report to cross-functional teams to enhance detection systems.
• Contribute to projects to enhance due diligence strategy systems and tools.
• Help build and scale processes across the risk operations ecosystem.
