Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a fully remote role supporting DHS ICE. You will help manage program tasks, analytics, and reporting, with responsibility for data lineage, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires a DHS clearance and citizenship, with a posted salary range of $100,000–$120,000 per year. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or commensurate experience) and 8+ years in the field, including 3+ years in data analysis, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience).
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in data analysis.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Databricks and other tools to breakdown processes and track data lineage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to compile information for data requests and ad hoc tasks.
• Support analytics and reporting for weekly/monthly customer requirements and real-time data requests.
• Group data from multiple sources to create interconnected data streams for analysis (SQL or Python).
• Develop data dashboards and organizational views for customers.
• Understand client needs and perform gap analysis with recommended solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary team members to meet project requirements and schedules.
• Create project deliverables ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Develop and disseminate information among business and technical stakeholders for Project Managers.
• Establish effective project communication plans and execute them.
• Verify data and information and provide analysis aligned with project direction.
• Track, forecast and report on project progress with metrics and challenges.
• Work with team to adapt to changes in requirements and propose expedient solutions.
• Translate complex issues into clear narratives for stakeholders.
