Artemis ARC seeks a Senior Communications Specialist to lead development of cybersecurity and physical security outreach materials for SLTT stakeholders. You will shape messaging with the Program Manager, mentor junior staff, and ensure all deliverables meet quality and branding standards.

The role requires experience with federal clients and the ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance. Remote work is anticipated with some travel to client engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, public affairs, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Currently holds, or can obtain, a DHS Fitness Determination/DHS Suitability.
• Experience developing communications, toolkit, or campaign materials for a federal government client, preferably in health or homeland security.
• Experience reviewing and quality-checking communications products for accuracy and consistency, and guiding junior staff.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability/public trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of communications products, toolkits, and outreach campaigns for SLTT stakeholders.
• Shape messaging strategy with the Program Manager and mentor junior staff.
• Draft and edit materials for events and campaigns ensuring accuracy and branding consistency.
• Manage social media content for public-facing campaigns and outreach.
• Support monthly progress reports and other contract deliverables.
• Coordinate with CISA stakeholders to ensure clear, user-friendly messaging.
• Ensure accessibility compliance for electronic communications (Section 508).
• Provide staff guidance on messaging strategy and deliverable quality.
• Travel to client engagements as required.
