Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function with a primary focus on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, data processing, and strategic agreements.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise on customer-facing and strategic commercial transactions, partnering with Sales, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to enable growth while managing legal risk.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, data processing, and enterprise agreements.
In-house and/or law firm experience with technology transactions preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.
Exposure to AI tools and legal tech platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiations on software, SaaS and cloud services, AI offerings, and partnerships.
Provide legal counsel on commercial issues and timely contract deliverables.
Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to align expectations.
Propose process improvements and standard forms to increase efficiency.
Work with AI tools and legal tech to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Support pricing governance and contract workflow processes.
