Job summary

Relativity seeks a Senior Counsel for AI & Legal Technology to serve as a senior legal advisor on AI, product development, and legal tech. You will influence enterprise strategy and negotiate terms with vendors, partners, and customers, ensuring compliance with evolving AI laws and data privacy requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to enable rapid innovation while proactively managing legal risk and shaping internal policies and playbooks.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with active US bar.
• Experience advising technology and AI-focused initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks (EU/US) and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal advisor for AI, product development, marketing, and legal technology.
• Provide creative, strategic legal advice on commercial, operational, and strategic issues.
• Negotiate terms with independent software vendors, partners, and customers.
• Advise on product launches, go-to-market activities, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Strategy to enable growth while managing risk.
• Develop internal policies and playbooks to improve contract processes.
