Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to serve as a senior legal advisor on AI, product development, and legal technology. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will shape strategy, draft and negotiate with vendors and customers, and stay ahead of AI regulatory developments.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing and Strategy to balance speed with compliance and risk management, while driving scalable legal processes across the company.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar in good standing.
• 6+ years in-house and/or at a law firm supporting tech initiatives with AI/technology focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal representative for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, operational and regulatory issues to internal stakeholders.
• Draft and negotiate terms with vendors, partnerships, and customers.
• Monitor AI law developments domestically and internationally and translate into actionable guidance.
• Develop internal policies and contract language to enable rapid business growth while staying compliant.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Partner, and Strategy teams to align legal risk with business goals.
• Improve processes and standard documentation for efficiency in product documentation and contracts.
• Utilize AI legal tech tools effectively to enhance productivity.
