Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Contracts Lead to manage all facets of contract formation and administration for complex supplier agreements. You will report to the Procurement Assistant General Counsel and work remotely from Puerto Rico, ensuring compliance and alignment with approval processes.

The role focuses on drafting, interpreting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts while driving cost targets and risk minimization across multiple sites and functions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing and negotiating contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• 6+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting complex contractual documents to support business growth and compliance.
• Proficiency in contract management software and tools to streamline contract lifecycle processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent and objective contract evaluation as well as experienced advice and sound guidance to various functions, as applicable.
• Drafting, interpretation, negotiation, administration of complex supplier agreements and claims and disputes management.
• Advise internal customers and stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Focus on continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance.
• Collaborate with various teams and functions at multiple sites, ensuring organizational effectiveness and standardization.
• Support the maximization of cost targets and cash flow while minimizing risk in the negotiation of contracts.
• Contribute to the development of strong working relationships with internal customers and stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction.
